Beginning...

So...I'm not posting before pictures until I actually finish the 90 days and see some sort of change.  I am unwilling to post my ugly fat photos prior to having some decent pix to show of the improvement that I've made.

So, I'm trying Tracy Anderson's Metamorphosis.  She is the trainer who works with many different celebrities and is now moving into the home DVD and studio portion of her growth and expansion of her business.  I haven't yet begun the workouts, it starts today.

Today is Day #1.  I will endeavor to take measurements, weigh myself (I need to get batteries for my scale, and I can't do that for another hour) and there are very specific menus to follow.  This plan is for 90 days.  There is no guarantee that I will lose large quantities of weight, but she has assured us that if you follow the plan diligently, there will be improvement...I'm all about improvement.

So.  I'll do the measurements first.  I will log these in on the chart that I received with the program and record my weight (after I go to the store).  I will even weigh myself today.  Anyhow, I'm searching her site for information on the juice.  It's called the Power Juice, and frankly, I'm frightened.  The rest of the food for the Nutritional Week (this is my own word for it) is very good.  I spent hours yesterday cooking and storing for the week.  Everything is very easy to make and the instructions in the recipe book are incredibly easy to follow.  Again, she is very specific about measurements, foods, spices, etc. that are and are not allowed.  Basically, even though she is in California, she owns your ass for the next 90 days.  I can do this for 3 months.  I mean, my hubby deployed overseas for 4 months, so I can follow a diet plan for 3, right?  Bet your butt...I am sure that there will be challenges as well as my need to sabotage myself (I'm really good at that), so I'll keep you up to date on that.  This is my diet diary.

So.  Once I get started, I'll fill you in...until later my pretties....

UPDATE:  The food is great - not a problem.  Lots to choose from and all are made before hand by my own hand with fresh ingredients rather than canned so I know what's in them.  The cardio is great, really gets your blood pumping, but if you've got bad knees like I do, make sure you use your own modifications.  The first toning exercises kicked my ass.  I look forward to doing everything again tomorrow.
